Scape x Tropfest: Supporting Emerging Filmmakers

This year, Scape proudly partnered with Tropfest as the festival stepped into its next chapter, supporting one of Australia’s most iconic platforms for emerging filmmakers and creative talent.

With more than 35,000 people in attendance, the energy on the night was a powerful reminder of how film brings people together. Tropfest has long been part of Australia’s creative DNA. It is where filmmakers get their start, where bold ideas are tested and where stories are experienced the way they are meant to be, side by side in real life.

Creating a Place to Belong

We did not just show up with our name attached. We created a place to belong.

The Scape Lounge became a space to settle in, connect and take in the festival together, with 100 double bean bags designed for shared viewing. Friends, residents and film lovers gathered, stretched out and immersed themselves in storytelling under the open sky, exactly as it should be experienced.
