SCAPE EATS IS AVAILABLE AT LOCATIONS IN SYDNEY AND MELBOURNE

Scape Eats is currently available at Scape Lincoln College in Melbourne and Darling House in Sydney. A mix of chef-prepared meals from the on-site eatery and a flexible open pantry ( Lincoln College only ) allows our students to eat healthy as well as refine their culinary skills.

Our brand new building, Scape Victoria Street, offers all-you-can-eat onsite dining, prepared by a team of talented Chefs. Enjoy delicious meals in the outside dining area or cosy up inside during the cooler months! The menu changes weekly and features dishes from across the globe.

Lincoln College residents will start their day right with a continental breakfast prepared by our resident Scape Eats Chef or have the opportunity to pick up ingredients from the Scape Eats pantry.

Meet the chefs

Meet the culinary wizards behind our Scape Darling House and Scape Lincoln College kitchens.

Head Chef Jack - Scape Darling House

Born in China, Jack grew up in Sydney spending most of his life in NSW. Jack is no stranger to fine dining working in 5 star hotels such as the Four Seasons and the Hilton and Sydney’s acclaimed Longrain restaurant. Along with 5 star training Jack is comfortable cooking for large groups of people managing the kitchen at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground. Jack’s favourite type of food is a fusion of western cooking with Asian, bringing together meals from his Chinese background and Australian up bringing. Jack brings his passion for cooking and great food to Scape eats daily as the head chef at at Scape Darling House as well as leading the expansion of our Scape Eats offering across the Scape portfolio.

Chef Fabrizio - Scape Victoria Street

Born and raised in Milan, Italy, Fabrizio grew up in his Grandma’s busy restaurant. It was from this early age he found his love for cooking and all things food. After opening his own Pizza restaurant in Italy Fabrizio had his sights set on far off Australia. Since landing in 2012, Fabrizio has managed kitchens in many buzzing restaurants in Melbourne until starting his Scape Eats journey in 2022. Fabrizio is super excited to cook for students from around the world making them feel at home and bringing them delicious meals straight from the heart. You will find Chef Fabrizio cooking up a storm at Scape Victoria Street.

Nothing is Impastable

Sweet tortellini filled with a Nutella Ricotta filling, and served with raspberry coulis and hazelnut praline. A play on the classic student meal of pasta with sauce – but make it dessert!

Samosa be a stir fry

A mash up of cuisines – combining an Indian classic with a go-to student dish – the Stir fry! From the outside this Samosa will look just as delicious and crunchy as any other, but break it open and you’ll find it filled with a classic plant-based stir fry – noodles and all!
