Scape joins The Push-Up Challenge
The Scape Australia community came together — not just to work out, but to take a powerful stand for mental health awareness across the country. As part of The Push-Up Challenge 2025, we took on a shared mission: to complete 3,214 push-ups, representing the 3,214 lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2023.
And what an incredible 23 days it’s been.
🧠 Why We Pushed
Every push-up wasn’t just about physical strength — it was a reminder of the importance of checking in, speaking up, and being there for one another. Each number carried meaning. Every rep honoured someone’s story, and every drop of sweat helped shine a light on mental health challenges that so many face in silence.
For Scape, this challenge wasn’t about competition — it was about connection. We set out to spark conversations and raise awareness, and we ended up strengthening something even greater: our community.
What We Achieved
Across our Scape buildings, students and staff stepped up — and kept showing up.
💥 Thousands of push-ups were completed in our gyms, lounges, bedrooms, and balconies.
💚 We raised funds and awareness for leading mental health charities like Lifeline and Movember.
👏 We shared stories, encouragement, and motivation across campuses and online.
🫶 We reminded each other that no one has to do it alone.
From group sessions on rooftops to spontaneous push-up bursts between lectures, the energy was real — and so was the care.
