Scape’s Aussie adventure wish-list NSW

Make the most of your time in Australia, you deserve a study break! We’re already making our plans for when restrictions end, why not add one of your faves to your itinerary? Grab some friends, hire a car, and voyage out to some of the most beautiful spots in the country to make some unforgettable memories. Don’t forget to charge your camera before setting out to any of these picture-perfect destinations.

Blue Mountains National Park

Take in the natural beauty of trees, rocks, native plants and animals (if you’re lucky!) and waterfalls with a trip to the Blue Mountains National Park which is only 2 hours from Sydney by car. There is a gorgeous 4.5km walk packed with waterfalls at Wentworth Pass known as Valley of the Waters, this location is definitely grammable, good exercise and a perfect way to get your dose of nature.

The Kosciuszko Alpine Way

Australia is not always hot, so if you’ve got ideas of desserts and a 365 day per year summer, you may find it hard to believe that there is a place in the state of New South Wales called the Snowy Mountains. Mount Kosciuszko is Australia’s highest mountain standing at over 2000 metres tall, so during winter you may even be able to ski and snowboard there! During warmer months, there is lots to do walking around nature, mountain biking or fishing.

Bryon Bay

Byron Bay is more than the host city of many amazing music festivals, it’s also a surfer’s dream and home to a great outdoors that is more than great, it’s breathtaking. Some highlights are: a plunge pool at Minyon Falls, Bundalong National Park with its beaches, wetlands, freshwater lakes and headlands, Mebbin National Park with a scenic volcanic landscape full of history and the landmark of Stone and Wood Brewery, and Broken Head Nature Reserve with its sub-tropical rainforest areas, rockpools, caves, and beaches.
